Specialist body for noise and vibrations

AKUVIB is a notified measuring body according to §29b of the Federal Immission Control Act

For more than 15 years, AKUVIB has been accredited in the field of acoustics and vibration measurement and is a notified measuring body under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) for determining emissions and immissionss of noise and vibrations.
As a specialist body, we provide you with advice, measurements and investigations from a single source. This includes, among others:

• Preparation of forecasts for the avoidance of noise and vibration pollution in the case of planned construction measures, conversions, blasting or similar
• Consultation, preparation of expert opinions and statements on questions of immission and emission protection, as well as noise reduction planning
• Assessment of operational plans with regard to workplace pollution and occupational health and safety

In the course of noise measurements in the vicinity or at suitable immission points, AKUVIB can provide evidence of adequate noise protection for a plant. For submission to the approval authorities, we prepare sound and vibration prognosis reports for your new facilities or for conversions requiring approval. We advise you in advance on suitable noise protection or can directly suggest measures for primary noise reduction at plants and units.

The proof of adequate noise protection is then compared with the permitted emission values in the neighbourhood within the framework of a prognosis report and compliance with these values is documented.
